Invoking Database
Monitoring Screen
To monitor database parameters, follow the steps given below to invoke
the database monitoring screen.
Click Database
Monitoring link under Load Details
section of the load test screen.
In the Database
Monitors screen, click Configure
a New DB monitor link.
Specify the monitor name, monitoring interval
in seconds, database type, and the connection url.
Click Save
to save this newly configured DB monitor.
Configuring
Database Details to Monitor Database Parameters
In the Database Monitors
screen, click the database icon next to the Database field to invoke the
Database Configuration screen.
By default, Oracle, MSSQL
and MySQL databases are present in the database list. You can add/edit/delete
from this list.
Select any database from
the list on the left side and specify the DB name, Driver name, url, username
and password for the database. Additional urls can be added by clicking
the + button. To delete urls,
click the x button. After specifying
the necessary details, click Commit to
the List button to save your changes.
Click Apply button.
This will add the new database to be monitored and it will appear among
the options listed in the 'Database' field list box in the Database Monitors
screen.
Click the Save
button to save the database monitor configuration.
Run the script which
will load test the URLs and simultaneously monitors the database parameters
for the configured database. Once the test execution completes, you should
be able to view the database reports.
